Recently, I participated in Grace Hopper Conference 2022 in Orlando, Florida. Grace Hopper Conference is a conference for women in a technology industry. I was very excited for this conference and it was a great opportunity for me to learn how to network with other fellow professionals in the tech industry and attended so many interesting sessions about product development. Before the conference started, I worked on my resume, business cards and talked to UC alumni who attended the conference before to have a better expectation of the conference. I looked into the seminar sessions that they offered and planned my time to go to the sessions that I'm interested in. There was a lot of people at the conference so it was very important to plan ahead. During the conference, I talked to so many companies during the conference and learned about full-time offers after I graduated. I also made so many new friends, learn about their experiences and broke 500+ connections on linkedin! After the conference, I feel like I learn more about the industry and I have a better picture of where or what industry I want to work in after I graduate.
