OBJECTIVE
To design an application to help find, order food and collect reward point from the food trucks.
USER RESEARCH SUMMARY​
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I’m designing for and their needs. A primary user group identified through research was the food lovers who interested in trying new food and gain reward from food trucks in NYC area.
This user group confirmed initial assumptions about the food enthusiast , Not only the locations of the food truck are important, Food option, ratings and reward collection are also play important parts in this app as well.
PROBLEM
Customers want to try new food from different food trucks but sometimes food trucks moved around and park in the different spots.
PAIN POINTS
1. Time
User wants to explore and try new foods from food trucks during the lunch time or dinner. However, it consumes time to locate the truck, and order food
2. Accessibility
Majority of food ordering apps are not cover the food trucks
3. Availability
Some food on the menu might be out of stocks and the users have no idea about it until they get there
